Kyro Kohan — backend and platform engineer, and engineering leader

I'm a backend and platform engineer who builds the system, then the organization that runs it. I'm currently Founding Engineer at Dialogica, where I was the first engineer and architected the Go microservices platform behind Dia, an AI agent built for the legal industry.

I joined as employee number one and personally built the identity, billing, AI routing, and integrations services the product runs on, plus the web dashboard. From there I grew engineering from one person into three sub-teams under their own leads, designed the hiring and interview process, and stood up the IT and security function along with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.

I also founded KOHANTIC, a California technology consultancy for startups and growing businesses. Before that I built a computer-aided dispatch platform still sold by a private security firm, co-founded a SaaS CRM startup as CTO, and taught machine learning at UCLA while finishing dual B.S. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering and Physics.
