Kyro Kohan — backend and platform engineer, and engineering leader

I'm a backend and platform engineer who builds the system, then the organization that runs it, then the operating structure around both. I'm currently Chief Operating Officer at Dialogica, where I was the first engineer and architected the Go microservices platform behind Dia, an AI agent built for the legal industry.

I joined as employee number one and moved through Lead Engineer to VP of Engineering, growing engineering from one person into three sub-teams. Along the way I built the identity, billing, AI routing, and integrations services the product runs on. As COO I own company-wide operations, policy, finance, hiring, and organizational design.

I also founded KOHANTIC, a California technology consultancy for startups and growing businesses. Before that I built a computer-aided dispatch platform still sold by a private security firm, co-founded a SaaS CRM startup as CTO, and taught machine learning at UCLA while finishing dual B.S. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering and Physics.
